My Personal Style

 

▶ Key Expressions

 

dress casually 편한 복장을 입다
During college, I mostly dressed casually. 

have an interest in ~에 관심이 있다
I didn't really have an interest in fashion, or in shopping for clothes. 

fellow students 또래 학생들
my fellow students were very interested in fashion.

continue to stick with ~을 고집하다
Even so, I continued to stick with my ordinary clothes.

pay attention to ~에 신경을 쓰다
I had to pay attention to the way I dressed. 

take an interest in ~에 관심을 갖다
I started taking an interest in shopping.​

the latest styles 최신 유행하는 스타일
I began to look for the latest styles, and to prefer flasht outfits.

flashy outfits 화려한 옷차림

manage one's weight 체중 관리를 하다
I also managed my weight better

pull off 소화해내다
so now I can wear styles or sizes that I couldn't pull off before. 

try on clothes 옷을 입어 보다
 I enjoy trying on clothes at the shops. 

suit someone ~에게 어울리다
Finding something thqt suits me has become very enjoyable.
